LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT
Bailey Fleet Services DBA: Diesel Performance of Grand Junction (“Company”) warrants qualifying repairs and installed parts performed by our shop against defects in workmanship under the terms and conditions outlined below.
This warranty applies only to the original customer listed on the repair invoice and is non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
Standard Repair Warranty
Unless otherwise specified on the invoice:
- Labor Warranty: _12_ Months, _100,000_Miles,or 2500 hours whichever occurs first
- Parts Warranty: Subject to manufacturer warranty terms
- Warranty period begins on the original invoice date.
Coverage applies only to repairs specifically listed on the original repair order/invoi
WHAT IS COVERED
This warranty covers:
- Defects in workmanship performed by Bailey Fleet Services
- Failure of installed parts supplied by Bailey Fleet Services
- Rework required due to improper installation
- Reasonable labor required to correct warrantable repairs
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does NOT cover:
- Abuse, misuse, neglect, racing, or overloading
- Lack of maintenance as required by industry standards
- Failure caused by unrelated components
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Downtime, towing, lodging, rental vehicles, freight, or loss of revenue
- Customer-supplied parts
- Used parts unless specifically stated
- Performance tuning or emissions deletes unless specifically agreed in writing
- Failures caused by overheating, contamination, lack of lubrication, or operator error
- Diagnostic time after warranty period expires
- Failures caused by another repair facility
ENGINE & PERFORMANCE WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Due to the high-performance nature of diesel applications, the following conditions void warranty coverage:
- Unauthorized ECM tuning or modifications
- Overspeed events
- Improper fuel or contaminated fuel
- Lack of oil or coolant maintenance
- Competition use or pulling events
- Emissions system tampering where prohibited by law
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer agrees to:
- Maintain vehicle according to manufacturer recommendations
- Stop operating vehicle immediately if problems occur
- Return vehicle to Bailey Fleet Services for warranty inspection before repairs are performed elsewhere
- Provide original invoice upon request
Failure to comply may void warranty coverage.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
- Contact Bailey Fleet Services immediately upon discovering issue.
- Vehicle must be returned to our facility for inspection and diagnosis.
- Repairs performed elsewhere without prior written authorization are not covered.
- Warranty determination will be made after inspection by management.
PARTS MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES
Certain components may carry separate manufacturer warranties. Coverage, duration, and claim procedures are subject to the individual manufacturer’s policies.
Examples may include:
- Injectors
- Turbochargers
- Engines
- Transmissions
- Aftermarket electronics
Manufacturer warranty approval is outside the control of Bailey Fleet Services.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Bailey Fleet Services’ liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts or workmanship covered under this warranty.
Under no circumstances shall Bailey Fleet Services be liable for:
- Loss of income
- Cargo loss
- Downtime
- Towing
- Hotel expenses
- Loss of business
- Indirect or consequential damages
COMMERCIAL USE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Customer acknowledges vehicle is used in commercial operations and understands that failures can occur due to operating conditions beyond the control of Bailey Fleet Services.
No other express or implied warranties apply, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
